Clarissa Kudowor, Deputy Director of the Payment Systems Department of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), has called for innovative Financial technology solutions to help in scaling merchant acceptance through digital solutions.

Deputy Minister for Communications and digitilization, Ms. Ama Pomaa Boateng has said the Ministry must take into consideration the majority of persons in the country who are unable to afford access to technology and thus ensure their inclusion in the country's digital ecosystem.

The Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has instructed the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization to work closely with the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications and the National Communication Authority to ensure a complete National coverage of the 4G network in the country.

CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, Ken Ashigbey has commended the Government of Ghana for taking into consideration from the Telecoms chambers’ data-led research that was conducted to review the proposed E-levy tax.
